Please do note that although some kids have lost their diagnosis the improvement has been  varied ..some kids have gained small steps... some moderate and some huge... 
Many kids have made modest steps of improvement over long periods of time... 
A five year plan is not uncommon . The work goes on and on ............ 
The approach must look to all areas biomedical,speech,OT,PT and so much more, it is a multi-model approach! Never give up, but also remember Rome wasn't built in a day..Each child is so very different!
